 LGMC provides Registration Services in the main lobby on 1st floor; hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 5:00 am to 5:00 pm. In order to expedite the registration process, we ask that you pre-register at least one week in advance of your hospital services to allow time for insurance verification and pre-certification, when required. For your convenience, you may pre-register by calling (337) 289-7162, visit our registration area in the hospital main lobby, or complete the online pre-registration form.
If your doctor has ordered diagnostic testing prior to your procedure, please visit LGMC Diagnostics, located at 1000 W. Pinhook (within Lafayette General Surgical Hospital) on the 1st floor. The staff can take care of your testing and pre-registration needs. If your doctor has given admit orders, please bring these with you. You will still be required to check-in with registration on the date of your actual procedure, as necessary signatures and copies of insurance cards will be obtained at that time.
